—FAQ—

• Can you make me a hall runner or rug to match my new carpet ?

  Yes, We do all our own carpet binding. We can make you any size or shape rug you want.

• Where are your showrooms located ?

  Unit 3, JFK drive, bluebell, D12. Just off the Naas road

• Free call out service for estimates?

  Yes, we can call over with samples to give you a free quote at a time that suits you

• Do you offer any type of guarantee ?

  All the work we do comes with a lifetime fitting guarantee,

• Do you take up the old carpet ?

  The old carpet and underlay has to be lifted before we arrive, We can take up the old carpet for a fee, We don’t takeaway any waste.

• Do you work in any other places other than Dublin?

  We mainly work in Dublin, but we do all over the UK & Ireland. Our social media is updated with when and where we will be visiting next

• Do you drink tea ?

  Yes we all drink tea. A drop of milk, No sugar we are sweet enough

• Should I paint before or after?

  It’s best to do it before. Take your old carpet up first to avoid paint lines. There is a possibility of paint being scuffed during fitting so be sure to keep some over for touch ups.

• Do you plane doors ?

We don’t plane doors. We can take the door off and leave it aside so the carpet can be fitted.

• I have a bullnose step, can I get wood on it ?

Some bullnose steps can be done with wood and some can’t. If not we will fully fit it with carpet

• I’m getting the carpet/wood effect, will it all be done in the same day?

  The carpet and wood are done on separate days.

• Do you fit wooden floors ?

  No we don’t. We only fit carpet on landings. We can supply you with flooring to match the wood we use on the steps. We can recommend a fitter.

• The flooring on my landing has been fitted to the edge of the step. I need a nosing to finish it. Do you supply them ?

  If the flooring has been fitted to the very edge of the stairs then a stair nosing should be fitted by the person doing the floor. We do not supply them.

• Are new door bars included ?

  Unless specified, new door bars are not included and are charged as extra. We can also re-use existing door bars if they are in good condition.

• Will the stair lights work on my stairs ?

  We will be able to advise you when we see the stairs in person. In some cases they can’t be done.

• Is the high gloss shiny wood special order ?

  Yes. The high gloss wood is special order and is more expensive.

• Do you have pure white wooden risers?

  Pure white wood isn’t available. We only have off white.

• Can you give me an exact time of arrival for fitting?

  Unfortunately we can’t give exact times as some jobs can take longer or shorter than expected. We will call you the morning of your fitting with an ETA

• Im getting a stair runner, Do I have to paint the stairs beforehand ?

  Yes, If you want the steps painted, It will have to be done before the carpet is fitted. We do not do this.

• Im getting a stair runner, Does that mean I have to get stair rods ?

  No, Stair rods are only decorative and aren’t essential, unless specified they are charged as extra.

• Im getting carpet fitted in a bedroom, Do I have to have the room cleared ?

  Yes. Any room getting carpet will have to be completely cleared out, If needed we can move furniture for a fee, We are not liable for any damages.

• I have a stair lift on my stairs, Can you fit around it ?

No, The stair lift would have to be temporarily removed for fitting. We don’t remove or refit stair lifts.

• Can I hoover my carpet straight away after its fitted ?

  No, You can’t hoover for 24hrs,
